My jounrey with the Wim Hoof method

I have been doing the wim hood method for nearly two months now and all I can say is this has been so life changing .
Wim Hof, also known as The Iceman, is a Dutch motivational speaker and extreme athlete noted for his ability to withstand very low temperatures.
He previously held a Guinness World Record for swimming under ice and prolonged full-body contact with ice, and held record for a barefoot half marathon on ice and snow.
He is so much more and created this wonderful method that is so beneficial for your overall health and well-being .
Using water for cold water therapy , did you know that water is one of the oldest therapies out there . Plus it is FREE in some spaces of the world .
I firstly started of by using the cold water on my face and on my hands . I was doing some research on healing my nervous system and found cold water therapy to aid support for the parasystic nervous system which is when you are most relaxed .
Did you know that a lot of us are constantly in the sympathetic nervous system and that’s why we struggle with overwhelmed , anxious feeling or depressing thoughts .
There are ways to heal the body naturally and I am fascinated by the various tools that I can add to my wellness tools .
My experience with using this method I felt a huge change , I felt like I had a lot of range in me and honestly doing this has been helping me a lot . I then decided to move onto the cold showers . Yes cold showers it sounds crazy but trust me it’s been the best thing for me .
You are meant to have the showers first thing in the morning and then go onto doing wim hoof’s breathing method . Still continue everything that you normal do and also acknowledge your breath .
The cold shower can be a shook to the system but I would advise to take your time and use cold water gradually . Then when you feel comfortable use cold water and immerse your entire body in it .
It’s a powerful feeling and very hard to describe but it’s a feeling of true reclaiming your power back and trusting yourself . There is no FEAR doing this .
I would suggest to look into in more if your interested or just curious .
Many blessings on your journey
